A huge congratulations to Sir Kevin Sinfield, MND Association patron, and his team on completing their seventh and final 7 in 7 challenge, raising more than £1.3 million for MND-related charities.
Starting in Hull on 27 September, Kevin and his team took on seven ultra-marathons in seven days, visiting all 12 English Super League grounds before finishing at Old Trafford, Manchester, on 3 October.
Cheshire was part of this incredible journey. During the final stages of the challenge, Kevin and his team ran through St Helens and Warrington, bringing the challenge into our local communities and connecting people across the North West in support of the MND community.
Kevin once again took on this challenge in memory of his friend and former Leeds Rhinos teammate, Rob Burrow CBE, who died from MND in June 2024, aged 41.
Through his determination and continued fundraising, Kevin is helping raise awareness of MND, fund vital research and support people living with the disease and their families.
From everyone at the MNDA Cheshire Branch, thank you to Kevin, his team and everyone who supported this remarkable challenge. We are incredibly proud to have seen this inspiring journey pass through our local area.
Seven ultra-marathons. Seven days. One mission: to support the MND community.
