Charity Golf Day Swings into Action for MND Association
Golfers came together at Upton by Chester Golf Club for a charity golf day supporting the MND Association Cheshire Branch and Wirral Group. Organised in honour of Chris Thurston, the event combined friendly competition with vital fundraising for people affected by motor neurone disease.
Round the Runway 2026 Raises Funds for the MND Association Cheshire Branch
Despite torrential rain, around 400 runners took part in the 2026 Round the Runway race in Mobberley, raising vital funds for the MND. Organised by Wilmslow Running Club, the event brought together runners, supporters and volunteers for an inspiring evening of community fundraising in support of people affected by motor neurone disease.

Carer-member Martin Wolff recently completed a cycle ride from Croydon to Paris to raise funds for the Association.
