A huge thank you to everyone who supported the incredible Gooseberry Trees Charity Auction, which raised an amazing £1,703 in support of the MND Association.
More than 40 exceptional gooseberry trees were generously donated by champion grower Peter Riley for a special charity auction held in memory of his father-in-law, George Hughes, who lived with motor neurone disease (MND).
The event brought people together to celebrate George’s memory while raising vital funds to support people affected by MND and their families.
Peter and Gaynor’s son, Ben Riley, is continuing the family’s fundraising efforts after securing a place in the London Marathon in support of the MND Association.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Peter, his family and everyone who contributed, donated prizes or attended the auction. Your generosity and continued support make a real difference to the MND community.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic fundraising achievement!
